What the Enterprise Institute can do.

The Enterprise Institute performs patent and trademark searches for entrepreneurs and inventors to determine competition for an idea or invention.  Since its organization in May 2001, the Enterprise Institute has made over 470 searches of registered patents in the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). 

A typical Enterprise Institute search for a competing invention can take several hours combing through a comprehensive patent attorney database.  However, investing in design and production without a search can cost thousands of hours and dollars.  A successful Enterprise Institute search typically leads to an attorney referral for USPTO filing.
