Enterprise Institute announces key sponsors of 12th annual Innovation Expo

Sioux Falls, South Dakota - Innovation Expo 2015 is scheduled for Thursday, October 1st at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Sioux Falls.

The Innovation Expo is an entrepreneurship conference that encourages and celebrates entrepreneurship and connects those who are involved in the process including: investors, business developers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, and the many others involved in launching and growing businesses.

Led by the South Dakota Technology Business Center, Bush Foundation, and Forward Sioux Falls, initial sponsors include:  DocuTAP, The First National Bank in Sioux Falls, Matthew Paulson Consulting, Sanford Health, South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development, South Dakota Small Business Development Center, and Web Concentrate.

Enterprise Institute Executive Director Tim Weelborg said, “We’re extremely excited to host this event in Sioux Falls again and have a great lineup of inspiring speakers.  We could not accomplish this without the amazing support of the Sioux Falls business community and the many sponsors.”

The Expo will feature six speaker presentations as well as four breakout sessions with local experts on topics such as intellectual property, legal issues in business, building a sales plan, and marketing for startups.  In addition, the event will feature a student idea competition where SD higher education students can submit a business idea and compete for cash prizes.
