Launch '08 Attracts more than 300 Students and Faculty

Launch ’08 was held in Mitchell, SD on Thursday, February 28th at the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University.
More than 300 students and faculty attended the conference to listen to speakers, network and visit resource providers.
This year’s conference featured two tracks: an educator track for those interested in integrating innovative and creative thinking within their respective disciplines; and an entrepreneur track geared towards inspiring and supporting students that are entrepreneurial. Partners for the conference included: Enterprise Institute, Equip, Kelley Center for Entrepreneurship, South Dakota EPSCoR, SD Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Small Business Development Centers, and South Dakota State University Entrepreneurship Program.
