Student Idea Competition 2011

Sponsored by the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Governor's Giant Vision Business Plan Competition

The Enterprise Institute is hosting the 2nd Student Idea Competition at the Innovation Expo 2011. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Purpose

The purpose of this contest is to identify individuals with innovative ideas and help them prepare to apply to the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Governor's Giant Vision Business Plan Competition.

How to Enter the Contest

Rules

Students must submit an Idea Competition Application by October 12, 2011.  Students will automatically be registered for free with an idea competition submission.

Contestants can enter one (1) idea into the contest

Contestants must submit a maximum of a one-page description

Judging Process

Judges will review all applications to determine finalists

Judging criteria will be based on potential commercial viability

Ten (10) finalists are expected to attend the Innovation Expo to recieve their award.

Finalists will be notified by October 21st
