The presentation provides general background on the IP system in the US and why we have the system, Constitutional mandates and Congressional acts.  There is discussion of each type of IP, when and how it can be used, what it protects, as well as, the positive and negative aspects of each type of IP.  Real life examples will be discussed to illustrate what can and cannot be protected.  If someone is interested in learning how to protect their intellectual property, whether invention, product name, artistic endeavor, written word or secret, their questions may be answered.
