Steve Gill will be speaking about his experiences as an entrepreneur having created, positioned, branded, marketed and distributed one of the world's most successful "luxury" spirits brands, Belvedere Vodka. His entrepreneurial spirit and great successes bring an inspirational, practical and motivational message to Innovation Expo attendees.
Steve is the Chairman and President of Dallas based Talenti Gelato. Talenti is Mr. Gill's latest business venture, introducing a super premium gelato. Talenti is already successfully competing with Häagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s and other premium ice cream brands in the premium grocery channel.
Steve was a Co-Founder and President of Minneapolis based Millennium Import Company from 1993 to 2005 working as a partner with the Edward J. Phillips Family of Minneapolis. The Phillips organization has five generations of experience in the spirits business and is considered to be one of the world's most recognizable names in the business. At Millennium, Mr. Gill was responsible for the creation and development of the luxury vodka category with the introduction of Belvedere Vodka in 1995. Millennium was sold to Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) in 2005.
Steve earned his M.B.A. Degree from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN and a B.A. Economics Degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
