The Enterprise Institute is hosting its 2 nd annual invention contest at Innovation Expo 2008. Entrepreneurs who have an exhibit at the tradeshow are eligible to participate in the invention contest. Each contestant will give a three minute presentation to a panel of judges on the trade show forum stage. The judges will score each invention based on various factors relating to innovativeness and commercial potential.

The Enterprise Institute and its sponsors are giving the following awards to the winners:

• 1 st place – $1,000
• 2 nd place – $ 500
• 3 rd place – $ 250
